Join the Ocean Literacy Festival in the Mediterranean Sea

The EU4Ocean Coalition is looking for a new round of engaging ocean literacy events. From science shows, arts performances, science cafés or workshops to public debates and educational activities for young changemakers and other audiences.

There is no limit to your imagination, so join us in making the Med blue!

This Mediterranean Ocean literacy festival will take place on Med Coast Day, September 25th, 2021, and is part of the wider EU4Ocean coalition Mediterranean Sea basin event (organised around September 24th and September 25th, 2021) which aims at bringing ocean literacy to everybody’s mind and actions in the Mediterranean Sea.

A Mediterranean Ocean Literacy Festival – what for?

The overall aim of the Mediterranean Ocean Literacy Festival is to connect Mediterranean ocean literacy actors and showcase the wide diversity of ocean literacy initiatives already in place. It will combine on-site, digital and hybrid events organised in different Mediterranean locations (and then broadcasted online). Its rich and diverse programme will ensure that you find something that responds to your interest and curiosity… whether you are a student, young changemaker, parent or grandparent, teacher, marine science educator, researcher, elected representative, policy maker or marine professional.
